Lifegate Christian School (LCS) of Seguin, TX, is a Christian, private K-12 school and is a ministry of Lifegate Church. In 1981 Pastor Bob Odom and his wife Cindy founded LCS.

We provide opportunities for the student’s faith to be strengthened by example, study, and prayer. Our school also trains children in obedience and discipline. On top of this, we provide a curriculum with high standards, challenging each child to do their very best, “as unto the Lord” (Col 3:23)

We are located on 13 acres, two miles southeast of Seguin. LCS has faithfully served the South Texas region since 1981. During this time, many Christian families have enjoyed a spiritually focused and sound academic environment for their children.

The two major emphases of the school are:

  1. Christian Worldview – From Kindergarten through the Twelfth grade, Lifegate constructs a Biblical worldview. We do so by integrating the Scriptures into all of learning from a Reformational paradigm. Our school aims for its graduates to serve the Kingdom of God with all of their heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 23:37). We work to instill a love of God and an understanding of His ways in each precious child entrusted to us
  2. Offering a College Preparatory Program – Lifegate has a proven track record of empowering students to become successful at many major universities throughout the nation. We aim for our graduates to fully explore their calling through Christ. Our goal is for them to follow Him throughout their future pursuits whether they be in a university or career program.
