Character Traits
1. Integrity (August 20-24): Doing what is right when no one is watching.

2. Loyalty (August 27- August 31): Being true or faithful; standing firm with others especially in their time of need. (2 Timothy 1:13-14)
3. Caring (September 3-7): Looking out for the interest of others even at personal cost. (Acts 4:32)
4. Responsibility (September 10-14): Using all my energies to fulfill the expectations of those who are counting on me. (Romans 12:1)
5. Consistency (September 17-21): Holding to and following through with one’s core values. (Hebrews 10:23)
6. Courage (September 24-28): Courage is not the absence of fear but the mastery of it and it involves applying the resources I have in creative ways when faced with overwhelming odds. (2 Timothy 1:6-7)
7. Excellence (October 1-5): Living in and acting on an attitude which expects the very best in every task. (Colossians 3:17)
8. Involvement (October 8-12): Participating in and with others for the betterment of ourselves, others, and our country. (Hebrews 10:24)
9. Determination (October 15-19): Realizing that my present struggles are essential for further achievement. (Romans 5:3-5)
10. Opportunity (October 22-26): rightly using the circumstances in the present to better oneself and others. (Phillipians 4:13)
11. Orderliness (October 29- November 2): Organizing and utilizing my resources to their greatest efficiency. (1 Corinthians 14:40)
12. Initiative (November 5-9): Expanding my world by exploring new areas of interest. (Ephesians 2:10))
13. Learning (November 12-16): Realizing each new day has something different and challenging to help me grow. (Philippians 3:14)
14. Pride (November 19-23): Having respect for oneself, one’s tasks, one’s community, and one’s country. (2 Timothy 1:12)
15. Decisiveness (November 26- November 30): Devoting all my energy to a course of single-minded action which I know is right. (Matthew 5:37)
16. Honesty (December 3-7): Being free of deceit and untruthfulness in one’s speech and actions. (Ephesians 4:25)
17. Honor (December 10-14): Sticking to what is right and truthful at all times no matter what others choose to do. (1 Corinthians 16:13)
18. Goals (December 17-20): Realizing that success at any task requires short and long term planning. (Psalms 90:12)
19. Flexibility (January 7-11): Being willing to change and adapt plans if unexpected conditions require it. (Philippians 4:6-7)
20. Partnership (January 14-18): Being willing to work with others to complete a task more effectively. (Romans 12:3-8)
21. Alertness (January 22-25): Recognizing opportunities and dangers which others overlook. (Proverbs 14:15)
22. Availability (January 2-Febuary 1): Refusing to be deterred by deceptive distractions and rejecting ambitions which hinder one from being where we are needed. (2 Timothy 2:4)
23. Endurance (February 4-8): Maintaining commitment to a goal during times of pressure. (Hebrews 12:1-2)
24. Accountability (February 11-15): An attitude which realizes that everyone is responsible to someone. (1 Corinthians 3:10-15)
25. Joyfulness (February 18-22): Providing brightness in the lives of others regardless of outward conditions. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
26. Respect (February 25- February 29): Being considerate and honoring in words and actions toward others. (1 Peter 3:15-17)_
27. Hospitality (March 3-7): Providing a welcoming atmosphere which makes others know and understand they are valued. (Hebrews 13:1-2)
28. Vision (March 10-14): Realizing that to be successful in anything one must plan and act for the future. (Proverbs 6:6-11)
29. Generosity (March 25-28): Giving a gift that is cherished by the receiver and the giver. (John 15:13 ; 2 Corinthians 9:6-15)
30. Cautiousness (March 31-April 4): Realizing that my greatest ability is also the point of my greatest vulnerability. It is also recognizing that the majority is often wrong. (Ephesians 5:15-16)
31. Contentment (April 7-11): Valuing relationships more than possessions and rejoicing in the way one is made. (2 Timothy 6:6)
32. Gratefulness (April 14-18): Giving expressions of appreciation that will honor those who have contributed to one’s success.

33. Punctuality (April 21-25): Realizing the importance of being on time and not making others wait on you. (Philippians 2:3-4)
34. Resourcefulness (April 28- May 2): Using time, money, and possessions to better complete a task. (Ephesians 5:15-16))
35. Thriftiness (May 5-9): Taking care of what one has to extend its usefulness and preparing for future needs during times of plenty.

36. Kindness (May 12-16): Giving honor to whom honor is due and showing sympathy in words and actions to those who are hurting.

37. Achievement (May 19-23): Finding joy and a sense of satisfaction from completing a task. (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
